I recently spent a lovely weekend at Assisi Garden, and it felt like the perfect quiet base for my little family's exploration of Umbria. The spacious room we stayed in was so comfortable, with breathtaking views of the ancient basilica and rolling green plains-just the kind of serene backdrop I adore. The location made it easy for my 8-year-old son to stroll to both St Francis Assisi Basilica and Santa Maria of the Angels, giving him a taste of history he's keen on soaking up! Breakfast was included, which I truly appreciated since the hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town-no need to worry about finding a café when you're surrounded by such beauty. Our days were spent exploring the area, and at sundown, we enjoyed a refreshing drink on the terrace-just what we needed after a day of adventure! Assisi Garden is a hidden gem; I'd definitely recommend it for families or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a stunning setting.
